LOGO DESIGN + BRANDING
Heidman is a well respected Law Firm located in Sioux City, Iowa. They came to me with the vision of replacing their existing logo with a simple yet elevated design, as well as designing a label for their collaboration with a local business, Marto Brewing.
A few months after I wrapped up the logo design, Heidman came back and asked if I would help design a label. This label was for their limited edition lager that they were partnering up with the local brewery, Marto Brewing, to create.
I started this process by looking for inspiration as well as sketching a ton of iterations. Here are just a few of the MANY sketches.
After the sketch stage I go straight to Illustrator and start building out my favorite ideas as well as the ones that the client was really loving to provide options and variety.
Here is the final logo that we decided to go with. I took inspiration from traditional law iconography as well as the history of Heidman.
A few more elements were added to the final label before they were sent off to the printer, and in a few short weeks I was able to see my work come to life!
